Rooms & schools
A floor roster for card rooms, casino party companies, California TPPPs, dealer schools, and casinos.
You’re short dealers, and every new one costs your best dealer’s shifts to train. Riffle & Box drills payouts, pay tables and procedure order on a phone under your house rules, so your instructors spend table time on pitch, chips, dice and game protection.

Three things your room gets
1
A rules switcher, set once
Set your pay tables, odds and procedure order once. Your dealers’ apps deal from them, so they practice the game they’ll deal.
- Blackjack pays 3:2 or 6:5
- Craps: Down Behind first or outside-in take order, 3-4-5x or flat odds
- Craps buy and lay commission rounded down to the dollar
- Pai Gow Tiles collection under cardroom rules
TPPP Banker Mode, with pre-shift payout checks: Coming.

2
Dealer privacy
Dealers practice offline with no login. Practice reps never leave the phone. Only graded exercises, company tests, memo read receipts and proctored gauntlets go to the Floor Dashboard.

3
Live proctored gauntlets
An instructor opens the session live and reads out a code. The dealer passes under your room’s rules. The result is a one-page readiness PDF with a verification link at riffleandbox.com/verify/.
A passed proctored gauntlet is not a license or an approval by any regulator.

For casinos
Trainees count toward your plan size and keep access as they move onto the floor. Go over your plan size and nothing is blocked or billed mid-year; you move up at renewal. A dealer’s proctored results and verification codes stay valid after they leave.
What your room gets
Comparing vendors? What to ask a casino dealer training vendor.
Roster
Every dealer, every game, one mark each: passed, how many sections done, or not started. Filter for who’s stuck on a section.
Dealer detail
Every graded exercise and gauntlet a dealer has sent, with dates, times and how many they got right.
Proctored gauntlets
An instructor opens a session and reads a code to the dealer. A pass under that code shows as a proctored pass. A pass a dealer ran alone never does. For blackjack, craps (base and stick) and Hold’em.
Room rules
Set your pay tables and rules once. Your dealers’ app deals from them, so they practice the game they’ll deal.
Readiness report
A printable one-page report per dealer for the training file. Print it, or save it as a PDF from your browser.
Learn to Deal
The lessons in the app: the rules, the pays and the procedure order, before a dealer drills them.
People and codes
Invite codes by role, remove someone, and import a roster from a spreadsheet. Export the roster to a spreadsheet.
Dealer schools
See who’s behind while there’s still time to help.
The same roster and room rules, for your class, with proctored gauntlets and printable reports. Students drill between sessions, and you spend class time on what an app can’t teach. Running a dealer school?
Casino party companies
Volunteer dealers who know the payouts.
Training seats let your dealers drill blackjack and the other games in the week before an event. How it works for party companies.
What we store
The minimum.
A dealer’s email, a name or employee ID, and their graded results. No date of birth, phone, address or payment details for dealers. Practice stays on the dealer’s phone. We delete a dealer’s data on request. Privacy policy
How a pilot works
- 1A 20-minute call about your room and your games.
- 2We set up your room and send your training director an admin code.
- 3Your dealers join with their own codes and start drilling.
- 4First pilots are free for 4 weeks, with a kickoff on a video call and a check-in at the end.
Casinos and cardrooms: from $3,000/yr, up to 50 dealers. Dealer schools: $300 setup, $600/yr, $50 per student per app. For 300 or more dealers, more than one property or a custom quote, talk to us.

Here is a sample readiness report and the check page its code opens. Both use made-up names (Sample Room, Dealer A) and are marked as sample data.
Riffle & Box is a training tool. It doesn’t replace live training, a gaming license or your room’s own audition, and a passed gauntlet is not a license or an approval by any regulator. Craps is included in casino party company plans, sold per app to dealer schools, and an add-on for casinos.
