For casino party companies

Event dealers who know the craps and blackjack payouts before you load the truck.

You’re always short craps dealers on busy weekends, and you don’t have Friday nights free to run payout drills for a rotating roster. Riffle & Box gives your company training seats. Event dealers drill 3 to 2 and 6 to 5 blackjack, craps place bets, presses and horn payouts on their phones in the week before the event, and you see who is ready before Saturday.

How training seats work across a weekend roster

Reassignable training seats

Give a seat to an event dealer for the weeks before a big corporate or holiday party. A seat stays with a dealer at least 14 days. After that, move it to the next dealer on your call list. Every seat includes poker, table games and craps.

What it costs

$100 per seat per year, plus a $600/yr platform fee for your company. A seat is for one dealer at a time and covers all three apps. Dealers who buy on their own pay the individual track price instead.

Craps base and stick without burning table nights

New dealers drill place bets, horn payouts, presses, come bets and the stick calls on a full layout, before they ever stand at your practice table.

Your party rules, set once

Whether your events deal 3 to 2 or 6 to 5 blackjack, or your own craps odds and pay tables, you set them once. Your dealers practice the game they’ll deal.

Switch between companies

A dealer who works for more than one company taps “Practicing with: [company] rules” and the app deals from that company’s rules.

Roster readiness at a glance

The floor dashboard shows one mark per dealer and game: passed, how many sections done, or not started. By Thursday night you know who can work a craps base spot on Saturday.

Lessons before the drills

Plain-English lessons explain where every bet goes on the layout, what it pays and the order of the steps, before the timed drills start.

Why party companies run short of craps dealers

Most party companies can staff twenty blackjack tables for a holiday party, then turn down craps tables because only a few people on the call sheet can work the base or call the stick.

Teaching a blackjack dealer craps the old way takes weeknights at your warehouse table. Half of a part-time roster has a day job, misses the Tuesday session, and shows up Saturday still guessing what a horn high bet pays. Riffle & Box drills payouts and procedures on a phone during the week, so your warehouse nights go to hands, stick work and guest hospitality.

Check-offs when they show up early

Open a session on your phone and read the code to a dealer to proctor a gauntlet: the 50-hand blackjack gauntlet (49 of 50 to pass), the craps base gauntlet (45 of 50) or the craps stick gauntlet (27 of 30). A pass under your code shows as a proctored pass. Each result prints as a 1-page readiness PDF with a verification code.

Dealers also get graded 20-question exercises (18 of 20 to pass). Ungraded practice stays on the dealer’s phone.

Keep warehouse nights for the stick, the dice and the guests

An app can’t teach a party dealer to hold the stick, push dice around a crowded rail, handle chips with either hand or keep ten first-time guests laughing. Your best dealer and your tables do that. What slows a training night is stopping every ninety seconds to explain what a press pays. When dealers finish their timed phone reps first, every minute at the table goes to chips, stick calls and a fast, friendly game.

How a pilot works

  1. 1A 20-minute call about your event games, pay tables and weekend calendar.
  2. 2We set up your company rules and send you an admin code for the floor dashboard.
  3. 3Five to ten of your dealers join with their own codes and drill before your next events. The pilot is 4 weeks, free.
  4. 4A check-in at the end: who moved up to craps, who got stuck, and whether reassignable seats saved you training evenings.

Frequently asked questions

How do casino party companies train weekend event dealers on craps and blackjack payouts before an event?
Assign a training seat to each event dealer. They drill blackjack at 3 to 2 or 6 to 5, craps place bets, presses and horn payouts on their phones in the week before the gig. You see their results on the floor dashboard, and move the seat to the next dealer once the event is over.
How does the 14-day rule on training seats work?
A seat stays with a dealer for at least 14 days. After that you can move it to another dealer on the floor dashboard. Every seat includes all three apps: poker, table games and craps.
How much do casino party company training seats cost?
A $600/yr platform fee for your company, plus $100 per seat per year. For example, 10 seats are $600 + 10 × $100 = $1600/yr. Every seat includes poker, table games and craps. The 4-week pilot is free.
Do event dealers need to download an app or have Wi-Fi at the venue?
No download from an app store. Riffle & Box runs in the phone’s browser and can be added to the home screen. Once it has loaded, practice works without a connection, so a dealer can drill in a warehouse or ballroom with no Wi-Fi.
Can we set our own house rules?
Yes. You set your pay tables and rules once, and your dealers’ apps deal from them. A dealer who works for more than one company can switch between the rules of each.

Riffle & Box is a training tool. It doesn’t replace live table training or supervision at your events, and a passed gauntlet is not a license.
